# Terms of service

## The service

override.studio is a free web editor that overlays telemetry on your videos, with a 100% local render in your browser. An account is optional and serves to sync templates and connect Intervals.icu.

## Acceptable use

Do not abuse the service: no attacks, spam, deliberate API overload or unlawful use. We may close accounts that breach this.

## Your content

Your templates are yours. By syncing them you allow us to host and show them to you. Your videos and FIT files never reach our servers, so they are not even covered here.

## Availability

The service is provided “as is”, without warranties or SLA. It is a personal project: it may fail, change or shut down, and we will do what is reasonable to announce it.

## Accounts

Keep your password safe: there is no email recovery. If you lose it, you will need a new account. You can stop using the service anytime.

## Open source

The app code is open source under the MIT license. These terms cover the hosted service, not the code.

## Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from the use or unavailability of the service.

## Changes

If these terms change materially, we will update the effective date on this page.
